BLACK CAT BOOK NOOK was started in January 2022 by Aydonne Alexander. We soon added our very first employee, Aydonne's sister and best friend, Lauren Alexander.

Aydonne started this Press in hopes of publishing not only his own books, but the books of other Queer creators with Queer characters in their books. He believes the world needs more Queer-Ran publishing companies and he is a Gay Man and Lauren is a Pansexual Woman.

The name "Black Cat" was decided because Aydonne has 2 black cats and plans on getting more. Just like black cats, the Queer community has been ostracized by the "normal" community. He wants to give Queer authors and their characters a safe place to publish, review, read, and talk to people.

He hopes House Panther Book Nook becomes every Queer person's number on stop for all Queer related fiction and non-fiction.
